Our Payroll Service includes everything you need for your company and your employees, regardless of how simple or complicated your pay structure may be. And, of course, in order to manage your payroll, your monthly QBO Payroll subscription is included, so that you can take advantage of our wholesale discounts. Your subscription includes timesheets, Direct Deposit (optional) and E-Pay (optional) for your monthly remittances.
We will assist with onboarding your existing and new employees onto your new payroll system, provide them with their own private online workspace to view all of their paystubs and tax slips, and be their point-of-contact to discuss any concerns they may have or updates to their personal and tax information. Avoid turnover in your employee base by eliminating any hassle or headaches with their paycheques.
Your employees can record their time in their daily or weekly timesheets, if required, using a central terminal at your place of work, or on their own device. You will be able to allocate time to projects, departments, or work locations. You can track billable time which will automatically create charges to add to your customers' invoices and allocate your costs to the appropriate project or customer. Time Management for your employees is included with your monthly fee.
As you are aware, there's a lot more to payroll than calculating wages, salaries, and commissions. It is critical that all source deductions are accurately calculated on the types of income, payments, or benefits. Employee (EE) deductions and Employer (ER) contributions must be correctly recorded and remitted to the appropriate agency or organization (EI, CPP, Federal/Provincial Taxes, WorkSafeBC, Benefits, Private Pension plans, Insurance, Union Dues, RRSP programs, etc.)
All employers in BC are legally required to register for WorkSafeBC insurance coverage. As soon as you hire a worker or an unregistered contractor, you have a legal requirement to pay their WorkSafeBC insurance coverage premiums. We will assist you with compliance matters as well as track your payroll, premiums, and any applicable subcontractor premiums and provide you with the amount to pay or we can submit online through E-Pay (if you have authorized us for E-Pay).
We will look after all of your T-slips and summaries at the end of the calendar year so there's no need to worry about missing your deadlines. If an employee is no longer employed, we will create and file their Record of Employment in line with Service Canada and BC requirements.
